Yesterday, when Internet Voices Radio went live, live 365 informed Ms. Cauldwell that one listener had preset her live365 InternetVoicesRadio station on their website for permanent listening. This is the equivalent of someone setting their dial permanently on their radio to a station because they enjoyed the programming so much they didn't want to lose the station call letters.

One program host, Debra Lintz-Hill received over 383 direct hits on her website after doing three podcast programs based on her book, The Proper Care and Feeding of the Soul. She sold two books.

Her MacGathering is coming up in May 19 thru May 20 and will feature all kinds of computers plus podcasting and video presentations.

Inspirational Insights with Laura Limming who speaks about dreams and what a person must do to obtain their dream. Also recited Freedom, a poem from her book of poetry, Book II.

FlexStretch which demonstrated a new stretching technique by bringing your palms to the center of your chest and stretching them out in front of you and then bringing them up over your head and heading them for a stretch count of 10. Repeat 3 times.

MayHem Religion in the 21st Century

Reverend Joyce Alinn presented her MayHem Religion program at 2 p.m. Sunday.
She discussed with Host Lillian Cauldwell where religion has gone astrayed when the victims from Katrina are still homeless, still missing family members, pets, and have no visible means of financial support. Reverend Alinn also asked the important question of why churches and other ministries aren't doing enough to help these people with all the discretionary income these mega churches have at their disposal.

The other questions Reverend Alinn left with her audience is the the Bible the word of God or is it the word of man? People can share their opinions or beliefs at opinionsandbeliefs@yahoo.com.

Tonight at 9 p.m. Host Lillian Cauldwell interviewed Joyce and Jim Lavene, a husband and wife mystery writing team. Joyce and Jim started writing when they submitted proposals to Avon Romance line, and were eventually accepted and published by Avon and in mid 90's.

Their agent and Avon editor suggested they start authoring mystery books. Together, they write the books each one doing it from their own perspective, driving into the country for inspiration and final murder suspects, and finishing each other's dialogue for the characters.

Lillian Cauldwell's MayHem News

Tonight, at 8 p.m. eastern standard time, Host Lillian Cauldwell, presented another Thursday evening of MayHem News. The two stories Ms. Cauldwell shared was Northwest Airlines raising the prices of their aisle or exit seats up to $15. She further states that Virgin Atlantic charges $75 extra while National charges only $12. It seems that David Stempleton stated, "that if people wanted to seat in the aisle seats for that extra 11 inches of legroom, they should be prepared to pay for it." Good thinking David.

The second story Ms. Cauldwell shared was that adjustable mortgage rates so popular a few years ago aren't that popular any more. It seems that mortgage rates will go up from 10% to 50% and that many borrowers won't be able to pay the higher fees, and forfeit their homes.

Games Nations & Politician Play

The Blame Game:

Voltair's 18th century champion of enightenment. Voltair's writings shaped the foundations of modern europe's commitment to secularism.
Muslims protests renewal of play, 265 years old - fanaticism of mohamed the prophet. The play portrays founder of Islam to lampoon all forms of religious frency and interlorance.
Muslim critics cite: distoration of Islam.
Voltair's fans state: Play represents the mandifesto for liberty and reason, and not an attack on Islam, but an attack on religious dogmas that stained European history with bloody conflict - Christianity!
Roman Catholoic Churhc denounced Voltair's description of God as a comedian playing to an audience too afraid to laugh and wrote that if God did not exist, it would be necessary to invent him.
Voltair mocked all religions and had some sympathy for Islan whcih he described as less impure and more reasonable than christianity and Judaism.

The War Game: As stated, even with troop cutbacks, costs in Iraq and Afgthanistan will reach $117.6 billion.
The annual cost of military operations is growing monthly expenditures run $5.l9 billion. Taken Afghanistan and Iraq together the $117.6 billion counts for the fiscal year ending Sept. 30 - 18% above funding for the prior 12 months.
War costs are rising despite pentagon estimate of lower personnel costs: $2.6 Billion for 2006 or 14% less than in 2005.
Year by year comparisons show that appropriations for operations and maintenance spenhding for the army and marines are rising by better than 30%.
Senate Budget Committee Chairman Judd Gregg of New Hampshire says the result is a total defense budget that in real dollars surpasses those of the Vietnam War Era and defense buildup under Ronald Reagan at the height of the cold war.
The process of this spending is difficult to follow because the White House continues to fund the war incrementally as an "emergency." This places spending outside the customary to run the government.
The war machine is what determines how much money6 is allocated for the military budget.

I am now an assistant editor with Blooming Tree Press http://www.bloomingtreepress.com, and I am looking for manuscripts which meet the following criteria:

Contemporary middle grade fiction under 30,000 words with a male main character.
Humor or adventure stories especially wanted.
No grossness.
No historical fiction.

Please send e-mail queries to lillpluta@gmail.com.
Include the first chapter in the body of the email (no attached files please).

Please pay attention to the above criteria. I am not interested in girl stories or historical fiction at this time. It is fine if girls are characters in the story, but the MAIN character(s) should be boys. We are trying to round out our list.

If you have other types of manuscripts you are interested in submitting to Blooming Tree Press, please follow the directions under Submissions on our web page. At this time I am ONLY interested in the above.
